premium, handmade cigars. Aged, long-leaf tobaccos are blended by
skilled craftsmen to create the cigar’s core, which is then carefully
wrapped in its distinctive binder leaf, creating “the bunch.” In turn, the
bunch is placed in molds to await the final wrapper leaf. Once wrapped,
the cigar is again aged in the cedar room before making its way into the
hands of its ultimate smoker. Now, Altadis U.S.A. is packaging a limited
number of wood molds each containing ten cigars.
According to an Altadis U.S.A. spokesperson, the wood molds are “a
great piece of cigar lore and make wonderful gifts”.
